December in Paris Vlog

Hi friends!

I'm backkk. Sorry for the inconsistency. Between trying to simply survive in France and the time it takes me to go through all my footage, months seem to fly by and suddenly it’s summer.

Video editing is still something I’m working on mastering. I feel like I’ve finally started to get a better hang of editing short form videos like reels or TikToks, but long form videos still take me a couple of days to edit.

I’ve been slowly but surely going through all of the footage from my time abroad. December marked an emotional month for me as I was still adjusting to my new school, new apartment, new friends, and a new culture. I had a shaky start with my school and I found it hard to navigate the French way of doing things. At its worst, I started to doubt whether or not I should return for the second semester. I was just feeling really disappointed over so many things even though I felt like I made some really nice friends so far.

In the end, I think going home reminded me why I left in the first place. I got the chance to regroup, recharge, and refocus myself on my personal mission to grow and challenge myself.
